Hello guys, so here is the thing.
I Have an 2003 SL500, that has the fault state in dash "Service Brake, Visit Workshop"
So, the story. Car was bought like that, no other issues, and owner drow to mercedes, where they changed the SBC Unit, on warranty, and diagnosed faulty SAM PASSENGER, that one that is supposed to control the SBC unit, So owner bought new SAM PASSENGER UNIT (Updated version) And went to local garage to change, after chage, same fault appered.
Now after 2 years, i have a chance to fix it.
Following was done:
Checked both SBC and SAM PASSENGER, with other units, no result
Cheked wiring loom From SBC UNIT to SAM PASSENGER UNIT No problems.
When following the DAS / XENTRY procedure, i have 12volt and pin no4. SYSTEMDATA pin, that is powered from the SAM DRIVERSIDE.
All fuses and modules are okay, Car has no other problems, just visit workshop nad Fault C249B
I made a brige directly from SAM PASSENGER, to SBC UNIT, and fault was off for 30 seconds, and again FAULT..
Im out of ideas.. Thanks in Advice.
