I have a wii 4.3e with homebrew and can play 'backed up' games from my hard disk.

I can't find a process to allow me to play WAD files.

Does anyone know where I can follow a process to get this set up.

ok rizlaskinz, was right then if all you want to do is install wad files and install games as a channel then you need this Digital Kaos - Downloads - custom wad manager 1.4 (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/custom-wad-manager-1-4-1030/) extract it and put the folde in the apps folder of your sd card, the wads you want to install go in the wad folder on your sd card, start homebrew channel and start wad manager, select ios 249 and sd slot should be default then press a,navigate down to wad folder and press a,navigate to the wad you want to install and press a,make sure it reads install and press a,when installed press home button, done

Great, thanks very much, much appreciated.

Is there a way to get them on to hard disk rather than just on an sd card?

Easier would be to not upgrade at all, or downgrade your wii

I've followed this to the letter, as soon as I installed the .wad, it get a "system memory is full error" it then takes me to the data management menu, if I delete the channel the game has created and then try and run it from the SD card as a channel, i still get a system memory saying it requires 278 blocks to run then gives me options of "auto manage" and something else. Basically it wont load any wad games. any help would be appreciated.

try deleting a few of the game saves you got in data management, and try it again

Tried it RD, still no go, the block counts don't add up to 278, only way the blocks add up to free space is I would have to delete the HB channel.

If you don't use the weather channel delete that and you should have enough blocks free and if that is still not enough you will have to look at how many channels youhave installed on wii and consider being ruthless. Just don't delete the original disk channel

Deleted enough channels to not get the system memory error, now I'm getting "this channel canoot be used" be it if I load it from the SD card or the home page channel, again any help is appreciated.

What are WAD files exactly? And how does USB loader compare to homebrew?

ck-ok

Only the news and weather channel.

try using AnyTitle Deleter - WiiBrew (http://wiibrew.org/wiki/AnyTitle_Deleter) and delete any unwanted titles or info but dont delete the homebrew channel

Hi, it does not work on my 43E Wii. What can I do?

Well it works on my 4.3E providing you follow the instructions and install Multi-Mod Manager 13.4 (http://www.wiihacks.com/homebrew-applications-utilities/58584-multi-mod-manager-wiiwu.html) to install your wads.

Welcome to the forum.

You maybe better http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a121/KStanier/google.gif Multi Mod Manager 13.4 as it has more facilities as I've never got Wad Manager 1.5 or 1.7 to work.

Now that you've made a post you should be able to download of here.

Or extract the MMM folder from Digital Kaos - Downloads - Usbloader gx 2.3 r1128 and d2x v7 with mmm 13.4 (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/usbloader-gx-2-3-r1128-d2x-v7-mmm-13-4-1872/)
