Hello guys,

Please help me with a solution
I got an BMW E90 with all keys lost. The car is from 2006 , but it has CAS+ ISTA P update on the CAS. I tried to downgrade with CGDI , but when i want to make the dealer key , need ISN , and i don't have it.
Is there a way how to solve it ?

I know in DME is only short ISN

If he read the short ISN from the ECU how will enter it in CGDI as the CGDI expect long ISN?

Today other locksmith call me with the same issue he readed the ISN on the bench but CGDI can't accept it

this cas does not have a long ISN, so it is not in the ecu either
there is only a short ISN

I load dump in VVDI and it show key error and lost ISN when try to make copy to superchip

Allready done the job.

Write new flash and new eeprom.

Make key without ISN , the car stars.

this cas does not have a long ISN, so it is not in the ecu either
there is only a short ISN

OK but why CGDI expect long ISN and why when he inserted the short CGDI wont accept it

Today I was there and programed the key with Autohex with the same ISN

Good! I needed the flash to verify it was indeed 9287535 so I could choose the correct downgrade set.
