TPROT off for Med17.5.25

Hi
Would anyone be able to TPROT off a Med17.5.25 original ecu file?
Assuming normal tools will not be able to read/write to this ecu through obd without having to bench it first with TPROT off?

no need to do tp off, you can do this ecu with kess 2.23 and VR file...or by ktm bench, i done this ecu various time with this two tools without problems

Would TPROT not kick in when trying to flash a VR file? Or will it be removed in the tuned file by the tuner?

tp is present on various ecu edc17-med17 and other and have many level (from 2 to 20)...but this is a problem only if your tool can not solve the tp protection during writing...is a protection against tuning ecu not from reading
