Peugeot 207

Hy members i got small but big problem with Peugeot 207,here is the problem: i swapped 1.4 16v engine with 1.6 16v using original harness from 1.4 16v.now the problem is the 1.4 engine got camshaft sensor and variable timing electrovalve,i managed to start the car and driving but no performance and only ravs to 3000rpm and backfire like someone did pops n bag now im in need help to make this engine perform the ecu is IAW 6LPC.105 any help is appreciated thanks.

Take original harness and ECU for your "new" engine, synchronize the immo - job done...

Original ecu is iaw 6lpc and donor ecu(1.6) is ME7.4.5

As i said - take the harness and ECU, that belongs to your new engine, fix the immo stuffs and that is it.

New results now as i was playing with maps now the car revs up till 7000rpm and got and perform better than before,but still i feel like not enough power is still short.any ideas, because changing ecu is big job.
