Iv got a 2018 mini cooper s in which wouldnt start. No communcation with dme. Dme would only get communication with battery support at 13.5v+ and when it did there was a fault for internal error.
sourced second hand dme, exact same part
number. Cloned dme with acdp. Checked isn after clone and isn is correct.
put ecu back in car and it just cranks. Communication with dme all the time so dme was definitely at fault.
im getting 2 immo faults in dme.
1B2008 electronic immobiliser (ews) response telegram implausible,
216118 attempt to start the engine while electronic immobiliser active detected.
Do these minis just need matching vin and isn between dme and fem/bdc to start?
