Hi Members

I need assistance, I have a modded Golf 5 GTI (TFSI) DSG with the following mods and a custom map by a local tuner.

1. GT30 Turbo AR .63 (Chinese)
2. External waste gate with 1bar spring with Manual Boost Tap (1.3 bar boost)
3. S3 injectors
4. Upgraded HPFP (Vortex Tuning internals)
5. Upgraded intercooler
6. Water meth kit

*Stock internals

The car seems to be very sluggish after the mods and custom remap installed. I actually battle to get away from a stock Golf 5 GTI and that's embarrassing for the amount of money I spent for this exercise.

I was told by the last guy who looked at my map that it's a bad stage 1 map with stock fueling and too much boost (2.2bar) on the file. Can someone take a look at my files and tell me how bad off it is or if someone can help edit it to decent values will highly be appreciated. Right now I'm stuck financially and can't afford another tune but own a Kess to download the file.

upload logs. You must install it with the original file. and I don't think anyone would create this file for free.

Do you mean I should log the car with VCDS - if so, what should I log?

Petrol engines must be logged for proper tuning - this is a must!

Do log in 3rd gear pull from ~1750RPM to the 6500RPM.

You can start with logging following blocks:

Block 10: 3 (throttle angle)
Block 31: 1, 2 (actual & specified lambda)
Block 114: 1, 4 (specified load, N75 duty)
Block 115: 1 - 4 (rpm, actual load, actual & specified boost)
Block 230: 1, 2 (actual & specified rail pressure)

Ensure that you click the "Turbo" button in VCDS, because otherwise the logs will be basically useless.
