Renault modus steering wheel def002 error

Hello, can anyone help me with this dump, it is from Renault modus 2004 1.4i with trw eps 8200 433 517 --D 20089 and have def002 error, attached is 24c16 dump. Thanks

Hi i only cleared df002 code and recalc crc. Immo not cleared. Try and report. :driver:

I will tomorrow, must remove the eeprom from the pcb again to write it. I only have renolink so i will write it with carprog. thank you very much.

It should start as immo not cleared. Let me know how you get on. i can do you a file with immo cleared if you have any problems.
I am guessing this is the original pas from the car, not a second hand one.

It is the original eeprom yes, do you know any other way to read-write the eeprom without unsolder it from the pcb? Anyway will let you know tomorrow, again thank you very much.

Unfortunately it didn't work. The error has gone away but I am getting steering fault error and angle sensor does not work. Tried to calibrate again but I can't with clip.

I can see the unit from both clip and renolink, has no dtc errors but keep getting steering fault error at the dash display. Do you know how to readapt eps and uch with renolink? Clip doesn't have learn procedure for modus. Thanks

You need to look at live data for steering angle senor. Is it working?

How can i see it from renolink? If i go to sensor calibration i get no data at all. Tried to calibrate from clip but i am getting error. I am certain that eps has no mechanical or any other errors because with another eeprom dump eps partially works. Is there any way to teach in the unit manually again with renolink? It seems that unit is ok but not teached in. Thanks

Mate, you have renault clip dealer tool, you have no fault codes, so check steering angle sensor is working in live data. If it is not working, it wont calibrate . Give it a go. (Don't forget thanks button:hello:)

I have renolink how to see live data of sensor? With my dump by going to eps unit calibrate sensor i was getting readings, now i don't. Should i do something else?

I loaded your bin but no success, i loaded a bin with different start bytes and worked ok except that i can not see it with clip, doesn't register to can network but with renolink and connect by address i can see it. At least it's working. Thank you very much for you time.
