KEYDIY 2014 HYUNDAI IX20

Has anyone managed to generate a remote for this car, as the IX20 in the menu does not work.
Tried about 10 likely candidates inc I10 India but no go, and ran out of time.

I don't know why Hyundai/Kia have so many different remotes, some for single model only ie i30 2007-2012

There must have been a change between 2010 and 2014

same key from 2010 to 2014/2015 it was then it changed to different remote , 3d reference HYR44 £49 for oem with no logo for the 2014 on 954301K500 , or HYR10 for the older style from 2010 on 954301K001

I'd checked on the 3D site beforehand, but have always managed to generate a KEYDIY remote, until now, so either the dealer coughs up more or the job doesn't get done.
Unfortunately a non remote key is unsuitable, whilst it operates the RCL, it triggers the alarm when you open the door, and can only be silenced using the remote open button.

have you tried special copy and normal copy to see if you can copy the customers remote with kd ? also have you tried smart match on kd ?

if no joy then your limited on options

1) use an oem and charge accordingly
2) search for second hand and recase
3) if the new shape remote 2014 on try every remote under hyundai and kia of this style
4) if the old style again try every one under hyundai and kia

make a note not to buy a car from that dealer in the future if selling with kd keys only

Yes it’s in smart match and works fine I think you need KD X2 ..
you also needed to register

I had set aside 2-3 hours this morning to go back and go through every model, so now it's either find a used remote or OEM.

it doesnt pay to try and appease cheapskates .

i would place a higher cost and more value to 2 or 3 hours of my time than an oem key would cost them , the time already spent and add another 2 to 3 hours id want more than the dealer charges to do the key .

the cost of the oem key is not that bad from some suppliers , under £65 tax included , with the dealer being around £300 or more and a long wait theres alot of margin to play with , considering the dealers price even £240 is cheap in comparison , if someone cannot make enough on these oem keys then they are not charging enough generally , alot of the time theres no need to be cheap, especially for a robbing dealer that has no regard for his customers who i bet makes a good whack on the car .

Done 2011 model with the same remote as Super Jumbe all okay. Tried most of xhorse remotes from the list no joy. Car was from UK market.
