View Full Version : Problem with Peugeot Expert dashboard

I have tried to modify a Peugeot Expert With Motorola 509018450012 with Tacho universal 2008.In te insrtuctive Pdf it shows a maotorola 5090.....11. it doesnt the same proccesor number.
It has two options, v1 or v2
In option v1 doesnt read the old value, instead of that it appears ????????
In option v2 says ...Working.... and nathing at all happend.
Someone said that you have to enter the new value but i am afraid of shutt down the proccesor.
Someone could help me??

Did you lift the 3 processor pins? Have you ever used the 908 cable? Cable could be faulty also.

You must read old mileage! Very important.

And last question, from what year is the car?

hi wher do i solder the wires on the 3 pins of the processor that you life
or lift the pins and soldre on the bord

Hi Drpeter, excuseme for the delay but i didnt know that you had answered my thread. At respect it was the first time i used cable 908, and really dont know if its working but the only think i know is that is new.I lifted the three processor pins such as the pdf said.The car is 2006 and have no BSI.It didnt work.With other dassboards tacho v2008 works properly.Could be possible to be a problem cable 908?? What can i do at respect? Thanks

I do these diagnostic from the back of the dash with the Ford Cable in Pug 806 diag program

how do you do that ford cable have you a pic of that cable and is 806 the same i have a tacho universal v2008 will that do it

Hi there did any one had a problem with peugeot expert speedo tried to chang mileage with techo universal - peugeot 806 and fiat ulesse -2004 Dignistic using cable 20 but it has reset it to 000000 and now its not changing mileage at all i have had don this before it did it ok. but know it is not.:banghead:

Sorted low voltage on bench power supply take the clock out start another car up plug techo in lighter rev the car and hear it goes.

connected directly on the pin, lift the pin that is connected to pin 1-2-3

some 908 cables are quiet ... if it does not send a photo of the inside of your cable and check if the connection is correct

Do exactly what dashradio is telling you and forget about 908 cable etc. look in the diga pictures folder for peugeot 806 you will see from picture this is the same cluster but just a different way( much quicker than f***ing around with the processor disectly and remember after wiring up as picture select Peugeot 806 Diag from the menu. ps it takes about 20 seconds to read the value so be patient.
Just do it and thank us later

Thanx evey 1 for help it's sorted Diagnosticaly there was problem with bench power supply not spllying enough voltage. Than pluged techo universal in car lighter and selected peugeot 806 diagnostic works ok.
