BMW F22 Kombi WBA virgin 35128WT

Hi guys,
Could someone please help me either virgin VIN or change VIN in this instrument cluster.
I'm using YH35XX programmer with emulator. Mileage change ok , i just need the correct VIN now because I have a red dot next to mileage and car detects that it is from another car (ista dtc)
Car vin needed : WBA1H11040V233476

I've found 2 short VIN which is correct but i still have VIN error with ISTA !

You have only one ST or maybe two ST on board...?
It's VDO or Bosch...?

its a VDO DARK PANEL
Only 1 ST 12835WT on board behind needles. Replaced with YH35XX emulator

I have similar problem with 35160WT and F series...
I changed manually VIN 3 x times, result VIN Error as DTC, and DTC reader shows me the right VIN...
Than I wrote old EE back, and flashed whole car by ISTA and Ista changed VIN in EE on the same way as I did it before, under live data it show me the right VIN...
but still dtc fault stored, incorrect VIN...

Cool , can you flash KOMI and remove red dot also ?
Impossible to flash with esys of ista at the moment ....

I've found more information about this red dot. Apparently some people seem to get rid of it by first making Vin virgin in cluster, then coding (inject cafd) and then Vin gets written and dots dissapears....

Inject cafd (load cafd) with Esys in kombi module. Then red punkt dissapears

I already tried coding kombi module with esys but using the original VO.. Should I import another cafd?

You just have to load any cafd file that appears in esys. Do this and the car will recognize that cluster. I have had this problem several times and I have always solved it this way

I will try again with esys. I have coded the cluster with launch and cluster was then recognized, mileage adjusted automatically etc after coding. Just this red dot....

Can you post the dump from emulator last reading

I think the bytes in adress 3C10 and to the 004000 , its FF

on the End of lines its 004010 , like on my photo .... adress 004020, 004030 ...dont exist
dont use emulator for this 35128WT, good tool do this, with out problem

EEPROM file size is normally 16384 bytes (0x0000h - 0x3FFFh).

The attached dump contains additonal 32 + 32 bytes which are the LONG ID and the ID LOCATION (mostly the same bytes).

That is the reason for the different file size (16384 bytes vs. 16448 bytes).

I'll read le emulator again in case. What tools can do this without emulator? R270? I've read a lot of nonsense about this so don't know [emoji3061]. I've already used emulators a lot before.

I use CG Pro without problems. Read/Write no problems.

I read about cg pro. Seems like you can only change the mileage, is that right? What about Vin causing red dot?
