View Full Version : Simos 18 Pops&Bangs in sport mode only??

Can someone fix simos 18 pops&bangs in sport mode only?? Car is already stage 2 with pops&bangs but my current tuner couldn’t get the pops to work in sport mode only. I heard some people say that only simos 18 after 2015 can do this?? Car is a 2014 MK7 GTI.

Ah, ok, now you are thinking well, I for my part can say that I have done several tests on this ecu, but I have never managed to get the pops on sport mode, only the pops all time. I'd be curious to see if anyone can do them since you want to pay.

I am interested in this to my GTi 7 performance 2013...I read people update the sw version to version C.... but before car need a lot of odis coding...

is a tool that can read simos 18 does not think VR. own golf 7 gti. I have already bought the 2015 remapped. I have the original file. but I would like to get a file that is in ecu. the file size is already 4.5mb

Yes, some early versions are not able to do P&B switchable (i think until 2014).

You have to do an update to a later version, before programming the P&B. But sometimes that causes further problems, as there seems different logics between other ecus in the car.
