Hi;



Donor DDE of BMW E90 has damage, i have cloned it with KTAG do an second EDC17CP02 (MPC and EEprom) and i get EWS error.



Could somebody make immo off on this ECU i know it is possible on this ECU

Clon k-tag can't read tricore eeprom from this ecu .

In externial eeprom nothing for immo , all in tricore ( tricore flash and tricore eeprom ) .

Yes, this ECU has virtual eeprom, clone ktag has issues with reading/writing

Ktag read virtual eeprom on this ECU without issue. ISN is there. All you need to to is just look, but is hard to do.

I had read this ecu with clone ktag, read the flash just fine(i make dpf egr off) but not internal eeprom...

Ktag clone can read only external 95640, and in my case it takes over than 10 minutes to read it.....

Ktag read virtual eeprom on this ECU without issue. ISN is there. All you need to to is just look, but is hard to do.

If genuine tool , yes it's read tricore eep but not clon .

I don't know if you manage to read the eeprom from mcu with ktag clone, but i remember in my case i get full flash and external eeprom..... No the virtual.....

(Ktag reworked, with svag2000 ddl and 2.25 version...)
