I have a Hitachi drive that won't read discs whether original or back-up's. With original discs it says "Put this disc in an xbox 360" and with back-up's it goes to the white x360 screen.

I have dumped the drive in JF and found it has been flashed with ix1.51. I have re-flashed it but it still does the same.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Try spoofing another drive with same keys, see if its a problem with the drive

When flashing a hitachi it has to be flashed back to orig then reflashed with hitachi 1.51. Then key spoofed etc.

If it came from another console and needs to be flashed to anohter console.

Flash back to orig then proceed with flash then spoof etc.

Thanks 4 this CGS - if u simply follow the instrutions in Jungle Flasher it does not state that the key has to be spoofed once flashing is complete. I did flash back to stock then flah ix - can u confirm the procedure once this has been done? Is it the 'Manual Spoofing' button? and do u need to state the type of drive? (as it is still a Hitachi - I am not changing the type of drive).

Any more help would be greatly appreciated.

If its the same Hitachi make model drive it should just flash the firware all from stock.

Only if spoofing as another drive does the manual spoof need to be used.
