Ford Figo 1.4 tdci cranking starting issue

Need some advice have this ford figo 1.4 tdci it will start maybe 10 to 11 times then all of a sudden it will crank perhaps 4 times and not start
Only then when taking off the negative terminal and putting it back on it will crank and sometimes start again i scanned and
dtc B1601 found

check all connections in dash

I also have DTC B2680 Odometer changed any specific areas i can check for dry joints on the cluster perhaps how to resolve this DTC

You mean in cluster itself or wiring connections from transponder ring to the ecu and fusebox and the cluster connector

How many keys you have?
Is it same problem to start with 2nd key if have ?

have 2 keys yes same problem with both keys i did solder the back dash plug connector was a few dry joints the dtc did not come on afterwards
I then tried to run start the car it statrted with ease only when trying to start with starter it turns but after 4th attempt it does not crank anymore then after removing negative terminal it will crank again will be doing a few checks like starter cranking amp draw
