Hi.
That's my first experience.
I want to change my dash to a new one with the better OBC.
I have a 2003 BoxsterS Tiptronic.
Is it ok to program the 93C86 with a TL866A and an IC-clamp direct on the PCB or do I have to desolder the chip?
I know the mileage in the 2003 dashboard is stored in lines 300&310 and 500&510.
My idea is to read out theses lines from the old dash and change and store these lines in the new one.
Any other functions are working great. Also the VIN is changed in the new dash by using the Piwis "changing" functionality.
Only the mileage was not changed.

With TL866 it's not possible to program in circuit. After desoldering the IC programming was successful.
