Official tool to download navigation map updates for all Mercedes Command Units.
Beware that this tool is just to download; to activate the maps on the car you need the pin.
This program is not protected by any registration or license.

1) create a usb with your installed navigation version.
2) create another one with the latest maps.
3) insert n1 usb and when you are asked to repeat the installation switch to the n2 and launch.
Enjoy.

I have NTG 4.5 V17, but case where should be SD-card should be is empty. Slot in car dash has card, inserted to SD reader but it shows no content.... so where I can get "old map" to hack installation with 2 USB method ?

Is this working so that:
You download latest map with Download manager COMMAND software.
Make USB with updated maps
Then you replace associated files found form hack_update (in root of usb) files correspond version what you have in your car. So content of USB is V20, then you copy V17 (NTG45_EU_V17_A1720044399) files to usb.
OR do I need to make other usb with new map with same process ? V17 maps are not available at download site.

EDIT: I can confirm that this works, so even you don't have original (installed) media you can use this copy method. Special thanks to ELETTRA64 :beerglass:

Yes, but I need older version of us map to used for update without pin.

If you have COMAND NTG 4.5 or 4.7 you can use hack files from post #2 otherwise you need to find old map media somewhere. With these hack files you can cheat system to that new map is actually old.

At post #2 there is instructions how to upgrade maps without PIN, you need to have NTG 4.5 or 4.7 to follow this. Otherwise you need to buy PIN coded with your VIN

1. Open MelcoMapUpdateMain_45.dat
2. Change
