Hi all,
I just bought from ebay used ignition lock for mercedes that uses the plastic infra red key of the very old type. There are 2 motorollas 64QFP of which i think i need the dump from them in order to produce a spare key. Any chance to read in circuit with UPA ? One of them is hard to be desoldered or soldered.
Also any suggestions for a reliable supplier of programmer and virgin keys ?

Regards
Marinos

Later to night i will post a picture of the electronic lock so as to collect ideas how to desolder one of the 2 mcu's that is sitting inside a hole.

Hi Marinos,
Yes, you have to take the boards apart, and desolder MCU then.
Also This is called EZS or EIS, and it is the key module. When you say Electronic lock, most people think of ESL (Electronic Steering Lock), that also have two motorolas inside.
Good luck
