Did mileage on 2010 F10 bmw 520D useing my DP4, read cas4 with Dp4 which had 1L15Y MICRO inside , all went fine , car statedd mileage changed and car drove off , 3 minutes later customer tried to restart vehicle and carr will not start , it is now failing to recognise the key and bringing up faults on cas4 saying receiver for key is not connected , i dont think it is possible to restore flash with DP4 as i tried and no success, dp4 definately corrupted flash on Cas4 which in 10 years doing them is first time it happened
So next i go buy same type CAS4 and ecu with matching Cas4 numbers , the speedo wasnt available for new replacement kit , just cas4,ecu and key , i nnstall new kit and now can starts ut no speedo working and will not engage gears on the auto box and every light on dash flashing , any of ye guys got any help or info which could save me on this one ?
