Question about ecu and pin code

Hi,
I have an ecu for an astra 2009 simtec 75, but don't have the pincode. Is there anyway to extract it from the dump that Kess v2 creates ?
I bought an Iprog but cant seem to make it connect.
Also have op com but doesnt reads the pin.
Can someone guide me please ? Cheers

Kess extracts the maps from flash only, i guess, if it has it in the list.
Eeprom is emulated in flash 29f800. Opcom advanced can get the carpass from this model.

Hey, thanks for that, I am trying to help a friend to get this car going. will op com advanced work with the china clon hardware ?
Do you know which would be the cheapest way of extracting this code from the ECU ? or reset the ecu so I can marry it to the car ?

I only have kess, op-com china clone, and I got a Iprog v87 but it doesn't connects to anything, so useless, sending it back.
Can you get the pin from the vin ? I can read the vin of the donor ECU. I looked online but they seem dogie :S
I don't do this often, it is just a hobby, and trying to save my friend a couple of bucks. But, I always like to learn new things !
Run a quick search on FVDI, it is wa out of my range, 800 aud ?? :P

What is the ecu problem? No tools to do it, then just find the 29fxx SOP flash on pcb and swap it to the second ecu. But is not so easy without any experrience and skils.
Or find out if yoir clone opcom has ori pic V5 pcb and search on DK how to use Opcom multi of Fantomel. Good luck

Thanks, I managed to download the op-com from fantomel, but for the life of me can't seem to find the guide, and can't see any way of getting the ecu code. Will have to keep on searching. and yes, I checked my interface and is one of the good ones :D

Use FANTOMELs Opcom11xxxxxxEN ADV or Opcom 161001A ADV. I read the pin code in Opel Vectra C 1.9 CDTI 2007 and Astra G 2003 1.8 gasoline. I connected to the engine ECM and read the pin through the "programming" tab. I don't know if you can do it this way, but just try it. Unfortunately, I do not know in which other Opel controller the "car pass" is stored

Hey, thanks Mario, I will try starting from 0, my opcom did update no problems to 1.67 but k line is not connecting to the ecu.
I will reset everything and start from 0 (drivers, software and firmware), I the event that this does not work, does anybody can recommend me the proper tool which will give me the most bang for the money ? I have been researching and lots of people talk about car prog, but going into details it doesn't seems to work with astra H simtec 75.5, where to buy would be greatly appreciated as well, there is so many fakes !

ok, I cleaned up the install, the drivers, and the firmware of the opcom.
Didn't work. Op-com can read the ecu and automatically select the car, but the k-line function to read the ecu pin is not working, it doesn't connect to the ecu. followed the instructions, slected astra G, ecu first and then went back and selected my car.
In the revision 110 adv, the eeprom dump function is not developed :S. others eeproms crashes the program.
windows xp, 32bit. opcom rev B

So my only option at this stage is to get the proper tool to read the eeprom from the ecu (simtec 75.5) any suggestions ? tech 2 ? car prog ? clones or originals ? I also saw svci or fvdi clones ? found this one:

at this point I am looking to buy what is necesary, without going crazy.
I started looking and ordered at aliexpress, but they are all scams, after you order they message you saying it is more money. they don't respect the price.
Priority is to extract or reset that simtec 75.5 ecu, additionally, I have a peugeot 308, a mercedes sprinter 2003, a kia rio 2014, a cruze 2010 and a hyundai I30 that I regularly service (mi friends and family) and it would be nice that what ever tool I get could do those or some of those cars as well.
I anyone has a place and tool to recommend, I would really appreciate it :D
