Hello all hope are all well and keeping healthy.
I'm in the process of swapping ecu's over on a vivaro 1.9dti 2004,
I've tried everything to extract the pin code from the original ecu (security pin 12)
I've dumped the file of eeprom using mpps v18 i do have galletto v54 also but only used mpps so far.
My question is what am i doing wrong here? I looking through the Hex file but it's not even showing my Vin inside the code.
Either the first ecu is fried ( it dose start the van) but it runs extremely rich and isn't running engine well ( Code to replace ecu )
Got another donor ecu. But i cant reset the ecu until i have the security pin ? and of course the second ecu come of a donor van.
So i dont have the V5 to the second ecu. is it possible to dump the eeprom file from original ecu to the donor ecu and it would recognise the keys to the van?
Or is there a process someone would be willing to explain to me on what i should be doing here, i have some knowledge in this but im not a electronic wiz i'm a more of a engine man.
Any help is greatly appreciated
Edit the ecu is - EDC151C13 BOSCH
