Hi, another dash problem, audi tt mk1 cluster swap.
I have xprog, do i have to take the dump of the. MC912dg to get the pin?

AFAIK vag commander with inpa d+can cable can read pin out

Hi, thanks for that, it connects with the speedo, but do not give any readings, when i press instrument immo, jut go straight to an eeprom dump , but the read gives nothing in both speedos

did u selected right IPC type in Instrument Cluster / Immobilizer? Have u clicked Open Channel under Target - 07 Kombi? Does it connect normally. Cant see what u do...

Hi, i did open channel7, it connects up to there and shows the data. When i click instrument/inmobilizer it just open a dump read, selected shadow 3, and got a dump, but wher login its shaded and where says odometer says 0, saved the dumps in case someone can find the pins on them

i see only one dash reading on your post. You can compare part number 8N2 920 930C
and immo id AUZ5Z0A3042075. ​this must be on sticker on cluster data from.

check measuring blocks group 024 for lock timer.

it was 19, changed to 18 now, so presume 18 min?
try 00660 again?

yes this is minutes, do not switch ignitoin off and do not make new attempts until all blocks become 0.
cluster is locked and new logins will increase waiting time

Well, pin works, however, my vagcom decided to not start, the lite says needs to be registered, and the 409 the same.
Also, i think i remember my hexv2 do not connect with the tt, so will need to get a registered lite or 409.

Well, got it to work, but now , fuel gauge reads the opposite way, i heard that i can swap the eeprom from one to the other?

these clusters are problematic. yes your eeproms are not crypted so you can experiment with this... on your risk.

Well, i tried on vag commander, but for some reason it do not read the eeprom on the adapted one anymore.
Vagcom, when go to instruments, flashes the new vin, and then shows the old vin twice, however, pin changed and key works.
When connected to commander, instead of showing TRUZZ show ORUZZ, so botched some way, will see what i can sort with it, anyone have the connections for the eeprom so i can use xprog or vvdi?

forget about this vag commander. use xprg with this connction.

bkdg / rst / +5v / gnd.
Best solution is here:
scrap these clusters and buy VDO from a4/b5 or a6/c5
with litle modification you will have good dash.
there is no oem vdo for tt 8n, but this is not problem for russians :D
