Siemens SID803A - compatibility

Hi,

I would like to know if those ECUs below are interchangeable or not. I would like to make sure that the spare ECU which I'm planning to buy will be able to be adapted properly.

Original ECU:
SID803A
5WS40614B-T
SW9664611280

Spare ECU:
SID803A
5WS40899A-T
SW9667115080

Hi. Yes, with Sid803 and 803A, no problem, you buy any ECU, upload the full bdm reading and it works without a problem. Best regards

The problem is that I have no ori BDM read, since ECU is completely dead.

I can transfer eeprom and flash phisically too, but what is the chance that I don't need MPC to swap between two above?

the HW hardware codes are the same so this should work and if i remember right on sid803a maps are in flash not mpc, but in sid803 maps are in mpc

flash and eeprom is enough if both ecus same numbers.

Unfortunately they have slightly different numbers. You can see them above. This is why I am not sure if they can be interchanged.
