i`m curious if this reciever box can be hacked to recieve premium channels.

Silvercrest 165 as sold by Lidl. Good fta box but only some are patachable, it all depends on the chip. There are two kinds of chip A and B. U would need to remove heat shield to discover which one you have before u can take it any further

Wow you know your stuff tell us some more about this receiver. Might buy one if its patchable. Whats the price on it?

Yes all Comag Receivers can be Patched and have been for years (including Clone comag receivers) ***.satboard.uk.to is one of the more dedicated websites for this receiver in english, you may of course find other sites but nearly all the directons & instructions are in German.

With the latest changes in encryption across Europe there is less and less to be got, but these is still a few providers that can be sought.

i hav'nt seen any patches for a long time
for these boxes, but there are still posts
and info on there site,here's there forum for

if you have a b or e chip it can be chiped i have the b chip and its still clears 1 w ok
