Hey,
I have a situation where all keys are lost and from dealer new key ordered but its not working due to probably keyslot 4 being programmed before aftermarket (soldering visible on CAS PCB, slot4 occupied).
Is my logic correct that if i reset the transponder ID in CAS as empty (FF), it should autolearn the key again if crypto & pass is ok. By autolearn i mean it should write in cas new transponder ID since all other data is the same.
I have tried it like this but couldnt get it working. I changed the vin for obv reasons in this eeprom dump (attached).
I also noticed the configuration byte has been changed from C8 to CE - maybe the reason is that but since car is far away before i try this, maybe someone has experience.
Of course maybe they changed crypto or CFG/pass and no longer possible to use the key since i do not have factory CAS data but my main question is if my logic is OK and should be possible like this.
Thanks
