FIAT 500 Transponder data

Hi,

I am trying to replace the keys on my Fiat 500 and am wondering if this is the transponder to start the car or is the transponder part of the actual PCF7946 chip?

The original key starts the car okay but the remote fob is dead. I'm wondering if I can swap anything over to get it to still start and then program the remote function in.

FIAT do not have the PIN codes for this car.

this is antenna.....
the chip transponder for start and remote is PCF7946

So it is impossible to have a remote fob programmed without having transponder programmed in car as well?

exact....
as far as I know the remote function on this chip is programmed together with the start function so everything from obd with diagnosis.
check your pcb .... if it is ok and the frequency is ok ..... you should try to do a new programming on the car ...
