Hello friends.
I did a few meter changes in the audi a3 8l but today I fell.
I did a few meter replacements in the audi a3 8l but today I fell. The original meter is jaeeger damaged (standard) designation 8L0920900H (IMMO3).

Pin code: 01525
milage 296640

The new odometer is VDO 8L0920900C (immo3).

pin code: 02875
milage 166689

In VCDS (original), in new dash channel 50 is not available for adaptation. There are 4 keys in channel 21 and it is not possible to add others (error when I press test).
I even made a new transponder to fire from the dump but still channel 50 is unavailable (the immo light goes out).
Would it be possible to transfer the immo data from one meter to another by editing the dump?
greetings.

Yes, write this file to VDO and you can start the car

edit: file reuploaded : small correction for coding :)

Hello. Despite the late hour I went and uploaded this file. Unfortunately, it did not work. The meter accepts the keys but.
The engine starts and goes out (immo active).
There is a drive system bus error in the meter.

File must work, i do swaps in this way many times. What error show the cluster? do you check adaptation channel 60 after writing the file? if there is 0 replace with 1025 and save.

Thanks for the info. I'll check tommorow. I understand that I have to enter the channel 60 1025 without zero? greetings.

You were right. Now it is working. There is one more ailment, the hazard lights turn on after starting the engine and you have to turn them off with the switch (rather, it's not an alarm). Regards.

Probably faulty hazard relay. It is integrated in the switch.
It happens with old cluster too?

The old meter is ok, I looked from the left side of the trunk and I can not see the alarm driver. strange thing with this audi. I will ask the owner if he has had this problem (maybe occasionally), but it also looks like an emergency light switch (cheap replacement). greetings.
