App for coverting some files

Need some sort of app for converting files.A friend of mine recommended this Tunebite (http://audials.com/en/audio_video_media_center/index.html) app,he says it's pretty good.Anyone had some experience with it?

what file do you want to convert? audio, video?
the best for audio (imho) is dbpoweramp

theres a bunch of free progs online you dont need to download any apps - google.com type in convert (file type) to (filetype) and away you go!!!

Thanks, I know that there are some online sites although I was wondering if those are reliable enough.This one seemed interesting cause it works for both audio and video and has some features for downloading vids off youtube, as far as I read.
