Hello, I am trying to complete an immo off for this IAW4HV ECM, I have read the ori 95320 with gq-4x and used a tool to create immo off, i would like to avoid having to cut wiring. Can anyone help me adding write protect to the immo off file I have attached?

I am not sure how to change status register to disable write in this eeprom

For write protection you need external programmer attached to eeprom IC.

Is this not possible with gq-4x programmer? There is a lock function but I’m not sure how it works.

set lock to 8C

Gq-4x doesn’t give me an option, it just has a function to lock, but it doesn’t seem to make change to binary when I select lock.

Do you know the address in 95320 binary to change to 8C? I’ve looked at data sheet for IC but I can’t see how to find the status register to lock write

to set the lock you need a programmer that supports it, you won't do it with just a shitty programmer
how it is done in a given program, you have to ask the program's author
programmers that read lock bits directly do not come cheap
