Hello people,

I got a peugeot PU-2859A which is vin coded. They have a 24L02 inside,but cant find... Is it in the tuner? Are they a pain in the arse to do?

If anyone can help will be much appreciated.

hi
here is another way to do it with out going into the tuner use the connections on the underside of the curcuit board eg photo attached

brown and black scl/sda
green positive 3/4 volts
white ground
I do use it in this way and I never have problems.

brown and black scl/sda
green positive 3/4 volts
white ground
I do use it in this way and I never have problems.

I have come to the conclusion that these stereos are a right fcuking pain in the arse. Rather than cut the tuner open i stripped down and opened up the tuner desoldered

The other option posted by M1DJF you need total decodes programmer.
A guy told me he's local stereo decoder shop does them for 10 pound WTF!

Well spray it with UV marker pen, pay your ?10 and let the local decoder do it.

The ?10 it will cost you is nothing, as the lost custom sneaking off to the radio shop is made up stinging the next customer!
