I understand that the engine ecu with mechanical and automatic transmission is the same and only the calibration varies
They sent me a donor ecu and when scanning it tells me that it is with automatic transmission.

What is the correct tool to perform a good clone? I found an engine ECU with a mechanical transmission. I did the cloning with Ktag and NewTrasdata. And after cloning. AVDI cannot access special functions to virginize and customize, but AVDI enters by diagnostics and identifies it correctly. I think the Cloning is not done correctly.

I have no idea what tool can clone that ECU properly. Rather, I suggest you see another possibility of converting that ecu with automatic transmission to a standard one in some other way since cloning will not have a good result. I know that this ecu is married to the eeprom with the MPC. If you only write the flash or the eeprom there is no longer a good communication with the scanner because the eeprom has to do with the flash.
