A3 8L 1.9 tdi 110ps max boost problem, question.

Hi everyone,

I have problem with boost in 038906012.
In car was change injector nozzle 0,260, much bigger turbo, intercoller, fuel pump, map 4bar etc.
SVBL, target boost was set to 3400 but in means block when i test i have only 2600 and them turbo shutting down.

Hence my asked if there is any limiter anywhere else?

boost correction by temperature not touched, torque limiters, driver wish and soi not even touched...

boost correction by temperature and SOI are not touch, the rest is good but not this point...:)
When i try drive with full thr request boost is 2600 not 3400 for 51mg. I dont' get it :/

try touching map linearization at 951mv to read 4000 pressure, but you must find the offset on your ecu with some mappack or damos, i looked at it into edc suite but i didnt find nothing about the map linearization, and about boost correction by temperature, sometimes you need, sometimes you don't, just make a try, change values with 100hpa more and see in logs if you get 2700mbar, if you do just calibrate this map for example, you must try for know :)

The diagnostic limit, is what is limiting you from seeing over 2600mbar, you need to change the linearisation for 4bar sensor and diagnostic limit if you want to see what boost you’re getting, or the easy way is just put a boost gauge and you’re are
going to see the actual boost without changing the diagnostics limit. There are plenty of threads on the internet that can help you to change it yourself. Once you learn it yourself, you won’t forget how to do it in the future.
