Hi, i have the dash of a Ducati Hypermotard 821 (eeprom 24C02 SOT23-5) i can't solve the checksum of 24098 Km, that is:
55 00 00 5E 22 ... in which 22 is wrong.
Could you help me again?

I think calculate field all byte XOR
+1
=CRC

example 2.byte to 19size XOR =D0 +1 = D1

or other
0E 1E 11 10 XOR=11 +1 12

or
00 46 82 ....B7 31 XOR=43+1 44

13 00 00 5e 22 as your string in both locations.

Unfortunately, both 3C 00 00 5E 22 - 13 00 00 5E 22 doens't work
The first shows "0" and the second 5 lines

Have you done the BBS?

Dash alone is useless AFAIK.

No, i tried it by powering it on the bench, (with the 939 this thing works... strange ) but i will try to connect everything on the bike with the modified BBS (which I have already done)
In fact to try after you wrote it to me i tried to put the original dump >feed ... and it shows lines.
You're right, if he doesn't communicate with the BBS... he's comatose:ahhhhh:

NEED BBS BIN FILE TO CORRECT KM
SURE WORKING
HP821 ON BENCH SHOW 5 LINES
ON BIKE WHEN CONNECT
1 IF EVERY THING OK WILL SHOW KM
2 IF WRONG WILL SHOW 5 LINES
AND EEPROM WILL CHANGE MANY BYTE
VIN CHANGE
ONLY RESTORE BOTH ECM AND DASH
