Hello frend i have alfa 156 year 1999 1,8 gasoline and i need to adjust the mileage. The chip is HC711KG4.
Which way is the best to adjust, obd or desolder.

You cannot do it with OBD!
Desoldering? Too hard...

The easyest way is with Tacho universal.

I don't have tacho universal .I have found on internet but is 400?. Is too much for only one car.
Exist maybe other not too much expensive way ?

Your cheapest option mate is to take it to someone who does it for a living....

Can be read HC711KG as a HC11KG4 using motorola f*cker ?
Ooops....motorola cracker 6.xx or above ?
Does this mcu have bit sec set active ?

chipeaset solution exist ....
buy upa or just make rs232 interface and use upa 2.3 (only under win98)

I have maked max232 interface. How to connect MODB and MODA ? Connect at GND OR where?

thank you! I try.

this photo is good? I connect + 5v on Vcc.
without + 12V of the main connector?
MODB and MODA together on GND without desoldering any PIN of MCU.

I have read with Motorola cracker7.0 only after have changed quartz with 8Mhz.

motorola 7 not good i tryed with motor4.3 and all ok
