Is there an issue with programming an additional OEM keyless, in that the first one stops working, or is it just straightforward.
Thanks in advance

Read someting like that. 2014+ valeo or conti bsi.
Delphi 2016+ , should be ok.

Have a 2019 cactus, only keyless entry and keyless start work.
Remote open close, and emergency start not work.
Delphi.

Will need to add a key. (to test) What is not realy possible, when the emergency key start function does not work.
No dtc, only B183F.

So, maybe this is not related.

Never had any issues myself, adding Keyless on Delphis.

Yes
Oem key.
Gives a 433mhz signal, and the
4a is readable.

Unless i can get the emergency start.
I need to backup the bsi eeprom.

Do not want to gamble, on whether a new key learning session will cure all problems

Likely not well programmed.

I have the exactly same problem with peugeot 5008. Car is stolen and recovered. I learned original key from car. OEM of course, but can not get remote working. Keyless works. I can open and close the doors on handle, I can start and drive the car, but remote buttonīs are not working. Have 5 keys now (2 original from car, 2 from thiefs and a brand new one, OEM also from dealer). I can learn all keys without problem, but remote is not working. I see in live data, that remote is not synced. Procedure should be after key learning ignition on/off, press lock button 5 seconds. But no way. Any solution? Maybe different procedure?

Out of curiosity what tools are you all using?
Has anyone tried this with Diagbox?

I‘m using Launch X431 and VVDI Key Tool Plus. Both same result. But the car was already at dealer with same result. I think next step will be new BSI because of history of car (stolen & recovered). I must say to this case, that car has different login code than peugeot got from vin. So I think this car has foreign parts (from other car). But I dont believe, that this is the reason for not working remote function.

Yes, a online diagbox account.

Status off the high frequency function (433mhz)------Inactive
Remote control 1 synchronisation ----------------------No

The car, was not stolen.
Perhaps someone attempted to learn keys, we dont know.

Dealer could not do anything here either.
Not sure what is possible, perhaps a update?

So if that fails, making it virgin, adapt. And would that not be enough.
It would need a full flash+eep?

Perhaps smok, or uco, can write full flsh and eep?
Opening it up, i can read eeprom with programmer.

In my case its delphi bsi. Because Peugeot and BSI is not my favorite and I dont have the right tools, I will decline to work on on this car. Dealer will replace the BSI I think. I have the same in live data: Status 433 inactive and 315 inactive. Maybe dealer could make a software update, recode it to get it active again.

Solved.

Starting the key learning proces.
Reprogrammed present key.
And all is fine now.

Later added 1 more.
Both work fully.

Yes, most key learning tools are writing message to begin with working key. But this was in my case not possible. Car was stolen and recovered with changed vin. After rewriting the original VIN from car to BSI the working key (from thiefs) didnt work anymore and I wasnt able to relearn it. But the original key from car I learned successfull to car, but without working remote function. But there must be a solution. Otherwise AKL would mean no more remote function?
