I have a Delphi Grundig CD30 MP3 that is paired with a BID display, I bought them from a dismantler but they don't have the code and haven't been divorced. My car is an 06 Vauxhall Astra SXI with the standard CD30 and TID display, I removed them and fitted the new units and they worked except that my battery would only charge at 13.5 volts, when i refit my original units the battery charges at 14.3v as normal. I'm guessing this is because they have to be programmed into the car?

Will soon have access to op-com 2009, do I have to disarm the protection on the radio with code, then re-activate security with my own cars code and program my VIN into the display? also is it possible to program the variant code indexes with op-com or can this only be done with tech2?

I read that the code can be read from eeprom dump, is this possible with op-com without removing the eeprom?

Would be really grateful if someone could give me advice/the procedure for installing the new units.

Unit is Delphi Grundig CD30 MP3
Serial No: GM0D3077971463
