Hi!
I have a bmw e46 320d 110kw 2002. When I bought it, it was already tuned.
2 years in a row I was passing the diesel emissions test in vehicle inspection with no problem but this year the test failed because the maximum rpm/limit (in neutral) was 4690 but should be 4000 +/-200.

So the only thing I need is to lower max rpm in neutral for the inspection.

My ECU has these numbers on it - DDE7791190 0281010565 1039S01010 - which apparently is EDC16C31.
Does anyone have an experience with reading/writing EDC16C31 using MPPS clone?

A profession would charge a good amount just to lower the limiter which really s*cks, + it would be nice to save the tune if something goes wrong in the future.

Thanks in advance!

i believe mpps13 is what most people use however mpps18 has been out for a while now so even the cheap clones are ok as long as you follow some safety measure before hand. eg battery connected to charger
