mercedes atego 2004 with key YM15

Key works fine in doors but not igntion the lishi doesn't support cuts 1&2 is there anyway of getting the first 2 cuts without stripping the igntion

The first 2 cuts are always the same.

Just decode door lock and make key.

We have made key for door which works OK but need the first 2 cuts for ignition when you say there's always the same same has what?

Wafer 1- 1 , wafer 2 - start with 1 and go up if necessary.

Sorry- try first wafer - 3, 2nd - 1 it should work.

no a full 10 cut ignition tool was never developped just the door tool.

personally if instacode no use i like to impression the last 2 cuts if same lock as door , its quick and reliable.

i have in past hand picked or raked ignition open and used lishi tool to find and decode position 1 and 2 .
