VW tacho cluster change VDO

Hello, I have a passat 2002 with malfunctioning /rows missing) big MFA display - tacho is VDO and I found some displays on the internet to be purchased;

my question is, if the display is for VDO - are there many different types or is there just one display for VDO cluster?

anyone repaired this common problem?

thank you, I tried this but no success;
I heated and pressed but no succes (not one line has got connected) - I set the display in testmode wit VagC0m

will report if the display change goes OK - i got the info that there is only ONE type of display for VDO cluster

i'm waiting for my display to arrive; I will NOT change the complete unit, just the LCD:)

I suggest you to repair, it is very easy to do, only must take care with the needles.
