I have looked at several mcu files already corrected and in many cases the real mileage remains, my question is if I delete the km by hand after being filtered by script, can I damage the dump, does it have some kind of crc?

Yes there is a CRC on every line.

It is simple addition to a static value

To correctly display the mileage on the screen, it is enough to replace only the last active records. If you are very worried that there are unused entries with old mileage left in the dump, you can simply replace them with any value, for example FF, without adjusting the checksum :)

thanks stepanv, my concern is if the scanner comes out dtc or cervices with the km that appears on the dash
