Hi Guys

Bmw X4 2015 in the shop.

An OBD2 Mileage reset was done via Autohex. All went through okay.

However when trying to start the Vehicle, the Keyless option wont work anymore.

The ignition turns on when held next to the steering column and the vehicle cranks, but will not start.

There isnt any codes in the vehicle except for in

801C20 - ZGM_central fault memory full-no contol unit fault.

(I dont think this would stop of from starting)

The Key Status is Correct and the Ignition sees the right Key. Also the remote central locking works as normal.

Have tried to update the CAS and recode, but still same problem.

Before going any further, has anyone experienced this before?

With having no fault codes, can only think Autohex has maybe corrupted something.

Thanks!

Hi Guys

Managed to sort it.

I check the ISN in both CAS and Ecu and it was the same...

I updated the ZGW and then reread the fault codes.

Got an instant fault in the Engine for Electronic Immobiliser Tampering...

I went back to the CAS4 and rewrote the same ISN...

It must have fixed the corruption and the car started...

Thanks for taking interest!
