Hello all busy correcting mileage on a Land Rover Discovery 2 2005 (last one sold proberly) and opened the cluster and found L56R instead of 93c56 eeprom and I did some homework and the specs look exactly the same but I just want to varify with someone here that they are as the last thing I need this week is to ~~~~ up a cluster.OH and my UPA just arrived so can I give it ago in it as UPA only supports 93c56.Thanks in advance for your time and responce.

Dash chip type is 93c56, in BSI you must find 68HC11PH8
The mileage is stored in the next lines:
00C0: 11 E2 EE 1D 11 E2 EE 1D 11 E2 EE 1D 11 E2 EE 1D
00D0: 11 E2 EE 1D 11 E2 EE 1D 11 E2 EE 1D 11 E2 EE 1D
00E0: 11 E2 EE 1D 11 E2 EE 1D 11 E2 EE 1D 11 E2 EE 1D
00F0: 11 E2 EE 1D 11 E2 EE 1D 11 E2 EE 1D 11 E2 EE 1D
where the next bytes:
11 E2 EE 1D - is a mileage
In BCU unit put 00's as shown here:
0080: xx xx 00 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx 00 xx xx xx xx xx
0090: xx xx 00 xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx
