Am I able to write this bin file to the ECU with it still installed in the vehicle using just a KKL cable? If so, I'm using Windows 10 and can us command prompt, or run sandbox Linux. Just need a good program.
Also, I'll search for a cluster eeprom reader tonight. My cluster came out of an 05 VW beetle. I would like to tune the cluster with VCDS.

I found a eeprom reader(using Vag Commander). My issue is that it said wrong baudrate and then says no ECU found. Is there a way I can change the baudrate? Or is there another program compatible with the Bosch cluster? Using KKL USB cable.

I think you have a Magneti Marelli counter and KKL will not be able to overcome it

You're right. I even have a 1999 cluster and its the same type of cluster. So I should just flash the ECU with the bin?

Is there a program I can use to flash the ECU without putting it in bootmode?
