Hi,

I have this airbag ecu with fault, The car not was crashed but register fault in pretensor and didnt detect safety belt .

Hi, i tested file today. the airbag ecu continue with fault in driver pretensor.

Client have identical 5 vans. 4 of their doing 90% work in city, this 4 have the same fault in airbag ecu. the other work doing around 500 km. this van dont have fault in airbag ecu. Client interchange a donor ecu, and problem was solved. but after some years the problem came again. Now is hard found this ecu and want repair their ecus. The problem is in dump corrupted for current peaks or the line inside ecu was damaged.


I did diagnostic with autel this morning. The dtc is Pretensor driver side, i didnt take photo with number. and in the dash no show seat belt led and the airbag led stay on. When conect good status unit the seatbealt appear in the dashboard. I will try check line in airbag ecu.

i would open it and trace wiring inside - might be something simple. as u wrote its hard to find good one now so there might be a problem inside...did u tried to emulate this pretensioner or connect other one?

Didnt try emulate because the problem not appear in good status unit.
