I thought the price for the dm800 was a bit steep but have to agree with felix1 they are living in 'dreamworld' if they think people are going to pay those sort of prices.

think it will make ppl think about the value for money they are getting. at the end of the day people just want something that works well. if they are offered a cheaper alternative they would now be prepared to consider them. i was very much in favour of getting an 8000 until i saw the price. i have a dm7025 an dat the time of buying it i didnt even consider any other box. but now you have to think its only tv. another site is bringing out a rival to the 8000 any day now and i am already looking forward to getting one. and thats even after considering the 8000 would have 4 tuners and dvd drive and wireless lan. you have to think past the luxury aspect and think about the money now. ?800 before it has HDD and 2 more tuners and wlan adapter? AND it will have endless bugs to begin with so is it worth it??? lets wait and see.
