Hi,
After some help and advice. Took out the am29f200bb PSOP44 chip from a volvo v70 ecu, put in an adapter (TSOP48 to SOP44) and tried to read with my GQ-4x4 programmer. It will not ID the chip and it will not read it. So i have given up and resoldered the chip into the ECU but now the car does not start. I am assuming this is because the chip is corrupted but being as I cannot read it I cannot confirm this.
The ECU numbers are:
0281001776
28SA4018
1111
09496667A
0000054144
00197
The car is a 1999 Volvo V70 2.5TDI (VW engine).
Any help in recovering this would be appreciated!
