What colour is my car?

Daft question I know.

It's a silver Astra, I spotted a small chip at the front of the bonnet that I'd like to treat before water gets into it.

So i popped along to Halfrauds and went to the paint aisle, only to find out that Vauxhall/Opel have about 5 different version of 'silver' - and they all look identical to me. :hmmmm2:

So, where on my car can I find my cars paint code?

used to be called "star silver" on the vauxhalls, but maybee something else now. have a look on the chassie tag sticker think its on the drivers door post and the code will be there. write all the numbers down and take them to the paint shop, they should know which is the code.

ps there galvanised anyway so the chip shouldnt rust.

I suspected it may have been on the door frame, but it's just a list of numbers and lettres, means ~~~~ all to me. :)

I'll take a note of them and pop back to Halfords.
