faulty serial port...how do i go...

I have a box with a faulty serial port, it is as new so how could i go about getting the dk image onto it ? i owndered if the partner box setup 0f the image would dump the image of a setup working box accross to it over ethernet as i have a box with the image on already.

Use an ethrenet cable mate (crossover if going direct from pc or patch/crossover if using a router).
