Hi, I have an Audi A6 1998 "R" 1.9 Tdi Auto VDO 93c66 dash that I tried to correct the mileage with a cloned diga diagnosticaly. Half way through the writing the cable came out of the OBD. I put it back in and tried again, the mileage has changed fine but now for every metre you travel 0.1 miles go on the display(or there abouts). Basicly in an 8 mile journey the odometer went up about 1000 miles. It is showing no faults and all the gauges work fine. I took the chip off to try and do it manualy, it read and changed fine but car still puts miles on at an alarming rate. I presume some code has been messed up but have no idea which part. The dash has im*o in and wont start without it in car so cant just put any dump in. Anyone any idea where the code could be corrupted or what I can do?:questionmark:

Thanks in advance, any help appreciated.

No I cant use another dump as its got immo in it. I need to know what part of the code is responsible for counting up the miles per I presume wheel revolution. I'm sure it will be the bit that changes for a KMH and MPH car. Just need to know which part of the code it is. Or does anyone have any other ideas. Is it easy to put immo code in another dump?

Ive done one as a text file and one as a binary. Mileage is 102134 in car and my equipment reads it as that and alters it fine. I just cant get it to stop putting them on at an alarming rate. Thanks for having a look.

does the speedo go up above wot it should be or is it just mileage indicator and does the car start with dash out

I hadn't checked for sure but didn't notice speedo error and it would of had to go right off the clock instantly to clock up at the rate it did. The car wont start without dash in car or chip off board.

Something is going wrong when I upload the files I think. I've just downloaded my own files and tried to read them and they are corrupted. I'll try and attach it unzipped as just a text file. It wont let me upload a .bin file so not sure how to go on? Sorry for the hassle.

Your login 02819.
Get dump of the same dash 4B0 919 910X C5-KOMBIINSTR. VDO D13 somewhere, write it into eeprom of your instrument cluster and use vag-com to adapt key and ECU.

ok if some kind person can give you a bin for your clocks you can run an adaption to re-configure. or you can edit data in the chip leving address line 000180 to 0001f0 as it is as i'm pretty sure that is the immo data, but you need a good bin first in both cases.

Didn't work, I tried swapping different parts of the data but it either does nwhat it did before or the dials goto full and stay there.

I need a dumpfrom a 4B0 919 910 X dash if anyone has one please.
