Which type of id-chip is used in the keyfob of an 2007 suzuki ignis .

can anyone help me out ??


- customer has the original key , so programming is possible

if you have access to the original key, then reading it with any cloning machine will tell you what chip it is.

Ignis is usually 4D65 or ID40.

EDIT: Sorry, I only saw now its a 2007. This one is 4D65.

You can easily figure that out using kdx2, hold chip button and place it next to lock while cycling it just like when sniffing for cloning. It will display chip type...
(this is when you have key but no chip in it)

Ignis from 2000 - 2008 is 4D65

Do you know which version of the remote door access is used on a 2005 ignis on mainland europe ??

( all markings have gone from the remote )

new keyfob has been ordered , he sent me pictures of his current key to determine the blade-shape .

Blade is Silca SZ11R, remote is probably too old for KD/XH but you've already ordered a genuine. In Australia at least these often came with no factory remote system and had a Vision system fitted at dealers, which complicates key replacement.

blade can also be hu133r and kd-xh support it

At least in Australian market never seen HU133R on that year range. And also never seen HU133R with ID65, only with ID46/ID47 here.
